Iconus Settings Panel

 

Iconus is a relatively simple program and there are not many options to be had, so we bundled the options panel with the about box.

You can open the Settings Panel by choosing: Tools > Iconus Options  or Help > About.

 

Keep Iconus On Top

Keeps Iconus on top of other windows

 

Remember Position

Preserves the location of the Iconus window for the next session, that way it always appears in the same place.

 

Use Tray Icon

If you use the tray icon, you can toggle Iconus on and off by left-clicking on the tray icon.

 

Load Last Library

Enable this option to start Iconus with the icon library you were last using.  If you uncheck this option then Iconus will always start with the library specified in the next option.

 

Default Library

Iconus will always start with this library unless you have Load Last Library checked.

 

Default Save Directory

This is where Iconus will save icons that you extracted using AutoSave.  It is also the directory where Iconus will start with in the Browse Dialogue when you choose Save.

 

Icon Editor

Specify the path to your favourite Icon Editor. See here for more details.

 

File Associations

This feature isn't implemented yet, but in a future version you will be able to associate Iconus with certain file types.
