You can fill the Common Libs menu with any dll or icon library you like.
This library is simply a simple text file
To edit the Common Libs menu, choose Edit Common Libs List from the Common Libs menu.
Place one file name on each line in the text file.
If the file is located on your PATH variable (like C:\Windows\system32 or similar) then you don't need the full path.
If the library appears to be empty when you view it in Iconus, then you probably have the path wrong.
Sample Common Libs contents
shell32.dll
moricons.dll
pifmgr.dll
imageres.dll
netshell.dll
mmcndmgr.dll
compstui.dll
ddores.dll
gameux.dll
pnidui.dll
wmploc.dll
c:\myiconlibs\favourite.icl
c:\myapp\thisLibrary.icl
c:\myapp\thisIconDLL.dll
Whenever you open a library in Iconus, Iconus will remember this and store the link in its History List.
To open an item in the History List, just click on the little arrow in the path area below the menu bar.
You can manage and edit the History List just like you would the Common Libs menu.
The difference is that the History List updates to reflect which libraries have gotten viewed whilst the Common Libs menu never changes.
It is easy to manage libraries - just use the Tools Menu.
Choosing Tools > Edit Common Libs List or Tools > Edit History List will open the list (it's just a text file) in your default text editor.
After you are finished editing it, you need to cause Iconus to reload the updated list by choosing Tools > Reload Common Libs List or Tools > Reload History List.
