Comparer – External Comparers

You can specify external comparers which will be loaded after clicking on “Compare” option.

Download and install your favourite files compare applcation.

Installation

Adding external comparer

  1. Launch Comparer and click on “Options”,
  2. Go to “Comparers” tab and click on “+” button,
  3. Click on “…” button next to “Executable” field and browse for your application,
  4. Specify additional parameters for external application (according to your tool’s help file)
  5. Specify files extensions to be supported in “Extensions” field,
  6. Click on “Apply” to save changes and “OK” to close Options window,
  7. Next time you run Comparer your application will be available in “Compare” menu,

You can also drag your application’s EXE file into list in “Comparers” tab or into “Executable” field (instead of browsing by a hand).

Removing external application

  1. Launch Comparer and click on “Options”,
  2. Go to “Comparers” tab and select unwanted application,
  3. click on “-” button,
  4. Click on “Apply” to save changes and “OK” to close Options window,
  5. Now you can uninstall it from your Windows,
